Windshake release their latest single 'Orange Raincoat' // review

We're no strangers of Windshake here at Rockstate. The release of their self-titled album blew us away back in 2019 and it’s obvious they’ve not stopped since. The Bristol based band, now accompanied with the mysterious Alan in their latest video, have released their next single 'Orange Raincoat' - the start of a series of upcoming releases that will project the band even further.

The track is a four minute whirl into the psychedelic sounds of Windshake; layered with a kaleidoscopic of acoustic melodies and vocals reminiscent of sixties music revolutionaries. It kindles this free spirit nature, echoing the sounds of late Glastonbury and Green Man.

Clad in, well, orange ponchos and capturing a real sense of creativity and quirkiness, the track is accompanied by an intriguing music video where we first get to meet this Alan - you can watch it for yourselves now.
